Shared House in Wallace Triangle

We have an opening in our shared house. We like to have an open community that combines enough personal space with opportunities to socialize. We occasionally cook together, play board games or watch movies. Otherwise, we are all relatively busy with... work and other obligations. The house is ideal for to balance community and private life: It has four bedrooms (3 upstairs, 1 downstairs) and two living rooms (one with a fire place -- hopefully soon to be activated), a kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms, a basement for washer/dryer and a nice front- and backyard to hang out or for barbecues.

The house is in the Wallace Triangle neighborhood, just a few houses down from the Haan Museum of Indiana Art and its Sculpture Garden. It's just over 2 miles from campus. The bus connection is not always convenient (especially at night) but it only takes 15 minutes by bike to campus (I ride every day). Downtown is a 10-minute walk away. Some of us commute to campus by car or bus, others ride their bikes year around.

We are specifically interested in more mature/slightly older housemates, such as senior graduate students, postdocs and young faculty.

If you are interested or have any questions, please do reach out. Please mention if you have lived in a shared house before and why you would like to do so now.
