Property is owned by Lafayette Friends (Quaker) Meeting. Two bedrooms are available on the main floor. One or both may be rented -- $400/month per bedroom, $700/month for both. A separate basement apartment and upstairs bedroom are currently rented.... Laundry is shared with all house residents (4 at most). Resident/s of the rooms for rent will share kitchen with upstairs resident and on Sundays with Lafayette Friends Meeting. Bathroom is on main floor and will be shared with Lafayette Friends Meeting on Sunday mornings and for occasional weekday meetings. Rental includes Internet, all utilities, additional storage space. Resident/s must maintain quiet on Sunday mornings and must also keep all shared living spaces neat and clean. There is free street parking. Prospective renters are invited to view the property, meet with other house residents, and interview with 2 house trustees to make sure that they are comfortable with expectations and can commit to them. Rental requires one month deposit, no smoking, no pets that live outside a cage, permission for criminal background check. Residents are invited (not required) to get to know members of Lafayette Friends (Quaker) Meeting through monthly potlucks and opportunities for volunteer work.
